    The Hong Kong Palace Museum presents priceless treasures from the Palace Museum and beyond. The exhibition “From Dawn to Dusk: Life in the Forbidden City” at Gallery 2 showcases over 300 sumptuous from the Palace Museum. Participants can learn more about court life in the eighteenth century from morning to bedtime, and explore the colour, texture, joy and sorrow of life inside the Forbidden City.

     

    Access services are available at the Hong Kong Palace Museum Access Tour. Participants can enjoy a docent-led interactive tour as they learn more about the treasures displayed in the gallery of the “From Dawn to Dusk: Life in the Forbidden City” exhibition. Participants are welcome to stay at the museum after the tour to visit other galleries (including Thematic exhibitions and Special Exhibition “Gazing At Sanxingdui: New Archaeological Discoveries In Sichuan”).

    Terms and Conditions
    1. The activity is only open for group registration by organisations/ schools.

    2. The activity is free of charge. Interested organisations/ schools are welcome to register on or before 10 November 2023 (Friday). Limited quota is available on a first-come-first-served basis. Priority is given to organisations/ schools in the Yau Tsim Mong District.

    3. Organisations/ schools will not be notified for unsuccessful registrations.

    4. Each organisation/ school can register for 10 to 15 quotas. The actual allocated number of quotas may be adjusted depending on the number of organisation/ school registrants.

    5. Email confirmation will be sent to successful organisation/ school registrants on or before 24 November 2023 (Fri).

    6. The organiser will take photos, videos and voice recordings during the activity. The said materials may be publicised for the purposes of corporate and event promotion, reporting and documentation.

    7. Adverse weather arrangement: If a black rainstorm warning or a typhoon signal no. 8 or above is in force at 7:30am or after, the activity in the morning will be cancelled; if a black rainstorm warning or a typhoon signal no. 8 or above is in force at 10:00am or after, the activity will be cancelled regardless of when the signal is lowered.

    8. In case of any dispute, the organiser reserves the right of final decision. The organiser also reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
