WestK Christmas Fest Important Notes to Participants:

1. Participants shall observe and comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and guidelines, including but not limited to West Kowloon Cultural District (Public Open Spaces) Bylaw (Cap. 601A) (please refer to https://www.westkowloon.hk/en/park-bylaw) and Art Park Rules and Regulations (please refer to https://wkassets-production.s3.ap-east-1.amazonaws.com/documents/art-park-rules-regulation-20210819.pdf).

2. Children under the age of 12 should always be accompanied by adult(s) in participating in the activities of “WestK Christmas Market”, “Live Jazz Performances” and “Christmas Pets’ Delight Gift Redemption”.

3. Pet keepers shall ensure that their pets are kept leashed and under control at all times.

4. West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (the “Authority”) reserves the right to change the event opening hours and the entry arrangements depending on the on-site conditions.

5. The Authority may, in its sole discretion, terminate, postpone, modify or suspend the event for any reason at any time and without any liability incurred on the part of the Authority whatsoever.

6. Crowd control measures may be implemented during the event periods. Participants shall follow the instructions of the police and the Authority’s staff on-site.

7. The Authority has the right to take photos and make videos of the conduction of the event during the event periods. The photos and videos may be used in different designated channels and media of the Authority (including but not limited to posters, flyers, advertisements, magazines, brochures, reports, announcements, periodicals, websites, newsletters, leaflets and TV channels) for the purposes of promotion of the event and/or the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Terms and Conditions for “Christmas Pets’ Delight Gift Redemption” (the “Redemption Activity”):

1. These terms and conditions apply to all participants of the Redemption Activity (each a “Participant”).

2. The availability of the gifts redeemable under the Redemption Activity (the “Gifts” and each a “Gift”) are limited to the daily quotas assigned by West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (the “Authority”). The Gifts will be redeemed on a first-come, first-served basis. The Authority has the right to select the type of Gift for each Participant.

3. The Gifts are only available for redemption from 2pm to 9pm daily from 21 to 30 December 2023 (both dates inclusive) (the “Redemption Period”) at the gift redemption counter located at WestK Christmas Market, Great Lawn, Art Park (the “Redemption Counter”).

4. To redeem the Gift, the Participant shall during the Redemption Period bring along his/her pet(s) and present to the Authority’s staff at the Redemption Counter valid physical or electronic receipt(s) of the same date in the amount of HK$300 or above in total from purchase(s) at any booth at WestK Christmas Market or any restaurants, cafes, shops or food trucks in the West Kowloon Cultural District.

5. Each receipt can only be used once for the redemption purpose. Each Participant may only redeem no more than 3 Gifts on a single occasion.

6. Any altered, re-printed, copied, photocopied, damaged, defaced or handwritten receipt, or receipt of payment with cash coupon(s) is not acceptable.

7. All Gifts are non-transferrable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, other gift vouchers, products or service.

8. The Authority makes no warranty as to the quality and safety of the Gifts and shall have no legal liability whatsoever in respect of any loss resulting from or in connection with the use of the Gifts.

9. The Authority may, in its sole discretion, terminate, postpone, modify or suspend the Redemption Activity for any reason at any time and without any liability incurred on the part of the Authority whatsoever.

10. In the event of any dispute in relation to the Redemption Activity or these terms and conditions, the Authority’s decision shall be final.

11. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

If a black rainstorm warning or a typhoon signal no. 8 or above is in force three hours before the start of the event, the event will be cancelled.
