    The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) announced today that it has awarded the Works Contract (L2) Lyric Theatre Complex & Extended Basement (LTC & EB) to Gammon Construction Limited.  L2 Works include the construction of the LTC, promenade, open space at the Artist Square, district cooling system, integrated basement, underground road and other public infrastructure works.  The LTC is designed by UNStudio (Netherlands) and AD+RG (Hong Kong) and expected to be completed around 2023. 
     

    A centre of excellence showing the best of Hong Kong and international dance and theatre productions, the LTC comprises a 1,450-seat dance-focused lyric theatre, a 600-seat media theatre and a 270-seat studio theatre.  The complex also houses a Resident Company Centre with eight dance and rehearsal studios and a rehearsal hall.
