Our new app Site Singing offers a site-specific AR experience that lets you become your own guide on an interactive multi-sensory tour of Freespace and the Art Park! Bringing music to life around you in exciting new ways, it opens your eyes and ears to a colourful world of augmented reality performance.
The app features creative concepts and music by Hong Kong composer and media artist GayBird.
Site Singing app is available for download at App Store and Google Play from 11 October 2022 to 31 March 2023.
Creative Concept and Music: GayBird
Gaybird is an award-winning Hong Kong-based music director, composer, producer and media artist, whose recent works combine technology, visuals, craftsmanship and installation art. His works have been recognised at the CASH Golden Sail Music Awards, the Hong Kong Film Awards, the Taipei Golden Horse Awards and the Asian Composer League Music Competition. Gaybird’s internationally presented sound installations include Home, a commissioned solo outdoor work in Australia, and Fidgety, which received the 3D/Interactive Award at the 2018 Lumen Prize in the UK.
