Performing arts is more than just seeing a show! Throughout the year, Xiqu Centre and Freespace organise events tailored for newcomers, industry professionals, and everyone in between.
 

Introductory lectures, workshops and other events bring arts and culture to new audiences, including talks by local and international experts, and hands-on arts and crafts workshops for children and families.
 

Xiqu Centre and Freespace also curate regular capacity-building opportunities for performing arts professionals, including masterclasses, symposia and creation labs covering all genres and aspects of performance. While geared towards industry specialists, a number of seminars and showcases are also open to the public.
