Blessed with its superb location and complementing its world-class arts and cultural facilities with 23 hectares of public open space are the commercial properties, comprising hotel, office, residential, retail, dining and entertainment uses in the West Kowloon Cultural District (“WKCD” or “District”). Together, they create a complete ecosystem with synergy effect, where arts and culture will fuel Hong Kong’s new commerce development and stimulate creativity and ideas for the next generations.
Under the master plan of the WKCD, the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority will undertake the property development projects in the District, including the Artist Square Towers (“AST”) Project in Zone 3B, in phases and under the public-private partnership model.
Artist Square Towers Project
The AST Project comprises three commercial Office towers with a total gross floor area of about 65,000 square metres, including 2,500 square metres of Retail / Dining / Entertainment facilities.
The right to develop and operate Artist Square Towers Project (AST Project) has been awarded on 22 November 2022 to Winner Harvest Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited.
The AST Project is situated at a central location of the WKCD and in the vicinity of M+, Asia’s first global museum of contemporary visual culture, and the newly opened Hong Kong Palace Museum. Together they will become an iconic development in the WKCD. The Project allows our development partner to establish themselves, for the first time, visible presence in the blueprint of Hong Kong’s prime arts and cultural landmarks.
