West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (The Authority) announced that, to reduce traffic congestion in the vicinity of the West Kowloon Cultural District (the District) during peak hours, starting from 0:00am on 10 December 2021 (Friday), day parking will be suspended and adjustments to the hourly charges of car parks in the District will be implemented. Details are as below:

Besides, to increase the car park utilisation during non-peak hours, night parking will be introduced to Art Park (Zone E) Car Park. Details are as below:

The adjustments to hourly car park charges and suspension of day parking aim to ensure more effective management of the District’s car park resources, enable more visitors in need to use the limited number of parking spaces during peak hours, and reduce traffic congestion in the vicinity of the District during peak hours. Reference has been made to the current utilisation rates of the District’s car parks and charges of nearby car parks when determining the new hourly car park charges.
The Authority once again recommends visitors to take public transport to the District where possible.
