WKCDA strongly recommends that visitors pre-book their museum tickets during the festive period. Only a limited number of walk-in tickets will be available, and entry cannot be guaranteed for those who have not pre-purchased tickets if the capacity of either museum is reached. Booking tickets in advance ensures a smooth and enjoyable museum experience for visitors.
2. Crowd management measures and special traffic arrangements on 1 October 2023
A significant increase in visitors to the District during the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day Golden Week, especially on 1 October 2023 (Sunday) for the Fireworks Display, is anticipated. Special crowd management measures and traffic arrangements may be implemented in the District. WKCDA encourages visitors to take public transport to the District. Please note the opening hours of museums and performing arts venues could be further adjusted to accommodate these measures. Specific details about these arrangements will be announced in due course. We advise members of the public and tourists planning to visit WKCD to stay tuned to announcements from both the Government and WKCDA.
