M+, Hong Kong’s museum of visual culture in the West Kowloon Cultural District, today announced three food and beverage (F&B) outlets that are set to open in the museum, delivering a new culinary and hospitality experience for its visitors when it opens to the public at the end of 2021.

The three F&B outlets will include two full-service restaurants, each unique in both dining concept and design. One is located along the waterfront promenade in the Art Park on the B1 level and the other on the Roof Garden on the 3/F of the M+ building, designed by world-renowned architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron. These restaurants are to be operated by Lai Sun Dining, a hospitality group which has a total of nine Michelin stars counted in the group’s portfolio and is best known for its unique culinary concepts and best-in-class hospitality across Asia and the United Kingdom. Lai Sun Dining will create a new dining concept exclusively for M+.

Adjoining the waterfront promenade museum shop is a tea and coffee bar designed by Herzog & de Meuron and to be operated by CURATOR Creative Café, a local Hong Kong lifestyle brand deeply committed to the arts and the tea and coffee culture.

Suhanya Raffel, Museum Director, M+ said, ‘As we envision the visitor experience of the soon-to-open museum, we are thrilled to be able to deliver our ambition to create truly unique culinary concepts that provide unprecedented dining excellence within the context of M+ visual culture. Dining at M+ will be a globally inspired experience, Asian influenced and truly local. Our offerings will engage all five senses with a mission to ensure quality and service excellence while being accessible to all our visitors. We are proud to partner with Lai Sun Dining and CURATOR Creative Café in delivering this vision.’

M+ Food & Beverage will be a vibrant and integral part of M+, and the dining experience will resonate the museum’s dedication to excellence in all that we do.
