Latest arrangements of West Kowloon Cultural District venues

In view of the extension of social distancing measures till 23 February 2022 and the new “vaccine pass” arrangement that would be implemented in full on all scheduled premises from 24 February, the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (the Authority) announced the latest arrangements for various venues in the West Kowloon Cultural District (the District) as follows:

1. M+ will be closed until 23 February. Visitors who have pre-registered to visit M+ in the abovementioned period are invited to note the closure arrangement of the museum and re-book their visit. M+’s designated reservation platform will continue to notify members of the public who have pre-registered to visit M+ during the abovementioned period through email or SMS of the latest closure arrangement.
   
    
2. Performances and programmes to be held on or before 23 February in the performing arts venues in the District have been rescheduled or cancelled.  Ticketholders should retain their tickets and visit the District’s website (www.westkowloon.hk) for details of rescheduling or refund, which will be announced in due course. Online ticketing and ticketing hotline service (+852 2200 0022) is available.
   
    
3. The Authority is aware of the Government’s announcement that a new “vaccine pass” arrangement would be implemented in full on all scheduled premises regulated under Cap.599F of the Laws of Hong Kong, such as museums and performing arts venues, along with other places of public entertainment, starting from 24 February 2022 onwards.  The Authority will announce the implementation details of the “vaccine pass” arrangement in the District in due course.

Since the pandemic, the Authority has strengthened anti-epidemic measures in all its facilities to ensure the safety of the public and its employees, including increasing the frequency of cleaning public places. Except exempted persons, those who enter museum and performing arts venues of the District must use the LeaveHomeSafe mobile application.

The Authority will continue to comply with the various anti-epidemic regulations and make timely adjustments to venue opening arrangements and programmes.
