In view of the latest social distancing measures announced by the Government today, the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (the Authority) announced the following arrangements for various venues in the West Kowloon Cultural District (the District) for the period between 6 and 20 January 2022:
- M+ will be closed from 6 to 20 January 2022. Visitors who have pre-registered to visit M+ in the abovementioned period are invited to note the closure arrangement of the museum and re-book their visit. M+’s designated reservation platform will continue to notify members of the public who have pre-registered to visit M+ during the abovementioned period through email or SMS of the latest closure arrangement.
- All performances on 6 January 2022 in Xiqu Centre will be held as scheduled. All performances and programmes scheduled to be held from 7 to 20 January 2022 in the performing arts venues in the District will either be rescheduled or cancelled. Ticketholders should retain their tickets and visit the District’s website (www.westkowloon.hk) for details of rescheduling or refund, which will be announced in due course. Online ticketing and ticketing hotline service (+852 2200 0022) is available.
- The concerts originally planned to be held in the Wonderland in Nursery Park of the District in January 2022 will be postponed. Further details will be announced by the organiser.
Since the pandemic, the Authority has strengthened anti-epidemic measures in all its facilities to ensure the safety of the public and its employees, including increasing the frequency of cleaning of public places. Except exempted persons, those who enter museum and performing arts venues of the District must use the LeaveHomeSafe mobile application.
The Authority will continue to comply with the Government’s latest measures and closely monitor the situation to make timely adjustments to venue opening arrangements and programmes.
