The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) announces regrettably that Ryuichi Sakamoto feat. Shiro Takatani: dis·play scheduled in December 2021 at Freespace, sponsored by Asia Miles, is cancelled due to Sakamoto’s health condition.

Paul Tam, Executive Director of Performing Arts, WKCDA, said, ‘It has been many years since Sakamoto last performed in Hong Kong and we are deeply saddened by the cancellation of this long-awaited performance. On behalf of WKCDA, I would like to extend my best wishes to the maestro for his swift recovery.’

WKCDA had contacted all ticket holders about refund arrangements when rescheduling was announced in July 2020.
