Board Members of the M Plus Collections Limited appointed

The Board of M Plus Collections Limited (M+ Collections Ltd) met today. M+ Collections Ltd was incorporated on 12 August 2016 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA).
 

The Board of M+ Collections Ltd consists of 5 members at present:

M+ Collections Ltd is the trustee of the M+ Collections Trust (the Trust). The Trust is to hold the interest of the M+ Collection for the benefit of the Hong Kong community, with the intention of separating the legal and beneficial ownership of the collection and protecting it from possible inappropriate deaccession in the future. An agreement will be entered into between M Plus Museum Ltd (as museum entity) and M+ Collections Ltd (as trustee) to allow M+ to exhibit the M+ Collection, and to store, conserve and otherwise manage the M+ Collection for the Trust. Day-to-day administration, exhibition and conservation of the M+ Collection items will be handled by M+’s management, whereas M+ Collections Ltd will be responsible for the M+ Collection’s security through an audit process. M+ Collections Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary set up by WKCDA and its directors are appointed by the WKCDA Board and has no direct connection with M+.
