Appointment of Member of the Public Private Partnership Projects Committee under the Board of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) announced the appointment of Miss Dee Poon Chu-ying as a member of the Public Private Partnership Projects Committee (PPP Projects Committee) for a term from 7 December 2020 to 22 October 2022 or cessation of the Board membership of the member, whichever is earlier.

The PPP Projects Committee is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the smooth implementation of the development of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects, from planning, project implementation to successful completion of the capital works of the PPP projects. It also makes regular reports to the WKCDA Board on project progress.

WKCDA currently has seven committees under the WKCDA Board, namely the Executive Committee, Audit Committee, Development Committee, Investment Committee, Performing Arts Committee, Public Private Partnership Projects Committee and Remuneration Committee. They have been established to assist and make recommendations to the WKCDA Board in various specialised areas related to the implementation of the West Kowloon Cultural District project.

Members of the WKCDA Board have joined different committees in accordance with their expertise, professional knowledge and experience. The WKCDA Board may also appoint non-Board members as Co-Opted Members to the committees, in order to tap expertise from different professional and community sectors.
