Appointment of Consultation Panel Members under the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) announced the re-appointment of the Chairman, Professor John Leong Chi-yan, and 15 existing members, and the appointment of Mr Kyrus Siu King-wai as a new member to its Consultation Panel until 28 February 2019.
 

Mr Henry Tang Ying-yen, Chairman of the WKCDA Board said, “I would like to express my gratitude to Professor John Leong, Chairman of the Consultation Panel and other members for serving as a bridge between WKCDA and the wider community, in particular the younger generation. I also welcome the new member, Mr Kyrus Siu, who will bring his expertise in volunteer management, social entrepreneurship and nurturing young people with creativity and leadership to the Consultation Panel.  I look forward to the continued support, advice and contribution of the Consultation Panel as we take forward the West Kowloon Cultural District project to the operation stage”
 

The Consultation Panel was established in accordance with section 20 of the WKCDA Ordinance to gather public views on matters relevant to the functions of the WKCDA.
