    The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) announced the appointment of Board members to the newly established Hong Kong Palace Museum Limited (HKPM Ltd). HKPM Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of WKCDA. The Board of HKPM Ltd is appointed by the Board of the WKCDA, and will be responsible for formulating the vision and mission, as well as strategies, policies and guidelines in relation to curatorial matters, professional standards and operation of the HKPM.
     

    The Board of HKPM Ltd consists of 14 members. Unless otherwise stated, the term of appointment of the directors of the Board is from 1 March 2018 to 31 December 2019:

    * The term of appointment of the two WKCDA Board members to the Board of the HKPM Ltd aligns with their current term of WKCDA board membership.
     

    # The term of appointment of the post holders of PSHA and CEO/WKCDA has commenced on 30 November 2017 and will expire on 29 November 2020.
     

    WKCDA is now building a professional team to support the planning and operation of the HKPM. Recruitment of the Executive Director of HKPM is underway.
