Class One performer, National Peking Opera Company, specialising in Cheng-style vivacious maiden roles. Graduate, Postgraduate Class for Outstanding Young Peking Opera Performers; committee member, 3rd Youth Federation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism; and 5th China Population Culture Promotion Association. Apprenticed under master Zhang Manling in 2006. Repertoire: The Jewellery Purse, Madam Gan Tang, The Red-Maned Steed, Spring Dream in the Boudoir, Tears of Barren Hill, and Sister Jiang. Accolades: named Star of Peking Opera (3rd ed); gold, 6th CCTV Young Peking Opera Artists Competition.
