Zhao also enrolled in the 2018 Peking Opera Ye-style Young Male Role Advanced Seminar for Artistic Talent; performed in Epic Journey at centenary celebrations of the founding of the CCP in 2021; and served as director of CCTV’s Lunar New Year Opera Extravaganza in 2023.
