Wilson Chau

French horn soloist and improviser Wilson Chau is the co-founder of brass quintet MR Brass. Chau has performed at the Carnegie Hall, New York and the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing, as well as at New Vision Arts Festival and Freespace Happening in Hong Kong. He also participated in the Jockey Club Keys to Music Education Programme – Share the Stage with Maestro Lorin Maazel and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Chau studied with Marc Gelfo and Lin Jiang, principal horn with the HK Phil, and attended workshops with Dale Clevenger and Jeff Nelsen. He was principal horn player with Collegium Musicum Hong Kong between 2011 and 2015.
