Outstanding Young Performer, National Peking Opera Company, specialising in painted face roles. Graduate, National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts. Teachers: Ji Shaorong, Yang Bosen, Zhao Jingxuan, Meng Xianda, Wang Wenzhi, Ma Mingqun, Ma Mingjun, Xu Chao, and Li Xin. Repertoire: Red Mulberry Town, Meeting the Empress ยท Beating the Dragon Robe, Five Dragons Subdued, Trilogy of the Dragon and Phoenix Pavilion, and The Orphan of Zhao. Wang played Minister Fei Yi in the new historical piece, King Wuling of Zhao State, for the Fujian Peking Opera Company. Accolades: gold and Honourable Mention (Personal Performance), 6th Fujian Art Festival.
