Victor’s choreographic works have been presented internationally across four continents. His recent work From the Top has been presented as a work-in-devlopment in Hong Kong, South Korea, New Zealand, Germany and the United States. He was selected as one of six choreographers for SPAZIO, a European network for dance creation which includes residencies in the Netherlands, Italy, Poland and Croatia. His work Not Enough (Beyond Reason) was shortlisted for the 2012 Hong Kong Dance Award (Outstanding Independent Dance). Victor has been funded and commissioned internationally by a number of major organisations such as Arts Council England, Hong Kong Arts Festival, City Contemporary Dance Company (HK), Hong Kong Arts Development Council and the British Council.
Victor was a Fellow of the Clore Leadership Fellowship Programme (2016/2017) under the mentorship of Wayne McGregor and a Shadow Trustee of Hofesh Shechter Company. He is currently conducting doctoral research in dance with a studentship award from Middlesex University and Dance4.

Hong Kong and London-based Victor Fung is an award-winning choreographer and the Artistic Director of Victor Fung Dance. Currently Associate Artist at Swindon Dance, he is the recipient of the DanceXchange Choreography Award, and received the Award for Young Artist at the 2013 Hong Kong Arts Development Awards for his international achievements in dance.
