Biography
Guitarist Victor Chu received a Bachelor degree in guitar performance from the Musicians Institute, Los Angeles, where he was invited to work as a teaching assistant after graduation. During his studies, he was recognised with the Student Excellence Award and a Stanley Clarks Scholarship. Since returning to Hong Kong, Chu has worked as a session guitar player on pop recordings and also participated in Freespace Jazz Fest 2019, 2020 and 2021. Chu has a deep love of jazz, funk and fusion and is currently working on creating original music for a planned instrumental album.
