Vanessa Choi is a director, curator and the founder of Scentory, a cultural brand that creates worldly experiences for people through exhibitions, art performances and sensorial reading kits. In 2022, she directed From Violet, a physical, music and visual performance at Soho House in Hong Kong. In 2023, she created the In Search of Palm Leaves series for the Hong Kong Arts Centre, marking her first sold-out walk performance which was inspired by Vietnamese monk Thich Nhat Hanh's diary. Choi has also curated exhibitions for Taiwanese artists Yu-Ting Cheng and Johnnp, and local artist Tse Sai Pei at PMQ. Other notable collaborations include working with Singaporean author Daryl Qilin Yam, Hong Kong author Hon Lai-chu and Taiwanese author Sharky Chen.
