Stacey Kent is an accomplished American jazz singer who has received numerous honours and awards throughout her career. She has been nominated for a Grammy and has sold over two million albums, with several of them achieving platinum, double-gold, and gold status. Her albums have also topped various charts and her music has amassed nearly half a billion streams on Spotify.
Kent has an extensive discography, consisting of 12 studio albums. One notable work is the platinum-selling and Grammy-nominated album Breakfast On The Morning Tram (Blue Note/EMI 2007). She has also collaborated with renowned artists, including Marcos Valle, Roberto Menescal, Danilo Caymmi, and Quatuor Ébène, and has performed in more than 55 countries worldwide.
In addition to performing classics from the Great American Songbook, Kent's repertoire includes French chansons, Brazilian music, and original compositions specifically written for her by Jim Tomlinson with lyrics by Cliff Goldmacher and Nobel Prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro.
