Berlin-based artist and curator Robert Seidel began his studies in biology before completing a degree in media design at the Bauhaus University Weimar. Pushing the boundaries of abstracted beauty through cinematography, science and technology, he uses an organic interplay of structural, spatial and temporal concepts to create complex symbolic narratives about nature and evolution. Seidel’s projections, installations and experimental films have been shown internationally at festivals, galleries and museums, including the Palais des Beaux-Arts Lille, Art Center Nabi Seoul, MOCA Taipei and Young Projects Los Angeles. Seidel is a recipient of the KunstFilmBiennale Honorary Award and the Visual Music Award of Frankfurt.
