Peter Lenaerts

Peter Lenaerts is a Belgian sound artist active in the fields of contemporary dance, radio and film. Lenaerts is fascinated by empty spaces and invisible or acousmatic sound that doesn’t scream for attention but sneaks into the listener’s ear unnoticed. Recent works include the radio work Resonate (2021), Stillness (2022) with Wayson Poon, Dylan Kwok and Vvzela Kook for Hong Kong Arts Festival@Taikwun, and the soundtrack for Rhiannon Newton’s dance work Explicit Contents (Sydney Festival, 2021).
