Ms Mimi Brown is Founder and Executive Director of Spring Workshop which she oversaw until its planned hiatus in 2018. Spring Workshop is a non-profit arts and residency space in Hong Kong, which continues to sponsor workspaces for artists and non-profit organisations without its physical space today. Ms Brown previously worked in New York as an independent musician and composer. She also served as the Programme Director for the Quincy Jones Listen Up Foundation in Los Angeles.
Ms Brown is a trustee of Cate School; a member of the Board of Directors of Asia Art Archive, the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, and the Signet Society at Harvard University; and a member of the Board of Advisors for Para Site. In 2018, Ms Brown received the Arts Development Council Award for Arts Sponsorship in Hong Kong.
Ms Brown holds an MBA from Stanford University and an AB in Music Composition and Comparative Religion from Harvard University.
