Mr WONG Kam-leung is a Deputy of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to the National People’s Congress, the Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers (HKFEW), a Hong Kong Member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Guizhou Committee and a Member of the Hong Kong Election Committee (Education Subsector).
Mr Wong is the Principal of the HKFEW Wong Cho Bau School and he has constantly made significant contributions to education and youth matters over the years. Being the Chairman of the HKFEW, Mr Wong is dedicated to leading the Federation in promoting teachers’ professional development and quality education. He is actively involved in Government boards and committees and provides constructive advice on various policy areas to the Government. He serves as a Non-official Member of the Education Commission, the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong STEM Education Alliance Standing Committee, a Member of the District Fight Crime Committee (Islands District) of the Home Affairs Department, the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong – Gui Zhou Cultural Exchange Fund and the Honorary Chairman of the China Hong Kong Culture Sports and Tourism Association. He was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2021.
