Mr. Franklin Yu is the Founder and Director of Singular Studio Limited. Passionate in community affairs regarding the built environment, he has served in various boards and committees of the Government and professional institutes. Mr. Yu is a Member of the Town Planning Board, the Land Sub-committee of the Land and Development Advisory Committee, the Appeal Tribunal Panel (Buildings), the Construction Workers Registration Board, and the Registration Committee of the Architects Registration Board.
Mr. Yu has also actively served as a Member of the Harbourfront Commission, the Authorized Persons, Registered Structural Engineers and Registered Geotechnical Engineers Committee, the Review Panel under the Land (Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance, and the Advisory Committee on Barrier Free Access.
Mr. Yu is a Fellow and a Council Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, and he is a Founding Member and a Council Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design.
