Mr David Au is a seasoned Registered Architect and has worked in senior executive positions in property development sector for over 40 years covering project management, planning, design and construction of mega scale development in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
He was the Executive Director of Airport Authority, Hong Kong (2015-2021) managing and developing Hong Kong International Airport and its commercial projects. He is responsible for creating and developing SKYCITY, its master planning, design, business development and marketing, laying down the pivotal element and foundation for the visionary Airport City, and has been successful in securing major developers as partners. He also led in overseeing all land related matters at Hong Kong International Airport. Prior to joining Airport Authority, he was the Director of Sun Hung Kai Development (China) Ltd.
He is now an advisor to Airport Authority advising on land, planning and property development matters in particular SKYCITY, and mastering the entire design for Asia World Expo Phase 2 consisting of exhibition spaces and a 20,000 seat capacity indoor super arena.
