Mr Alan Lau is Chairman of WeSure, Tencent’s FinTech insurance business. Previously, he was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led Mckinsey Digital for Asia-Pacific.

Mr Lau contributes actively to arts development in Hong Kong. He is Chairman of Para Site, an art space that has represented Hong Kong in important international exhibitions including the Venice Biennale. Mr Lau is also Co-Chair of the Asia-Pacific Acquisitions Committee of Tate, and Co-Chair of the Guggenheim’s Asian Art Circle, where he advises on acquisitions to grow the two museums’ Asian collections.

Mr Lau graduated from Oxford University with an MSc in Engineering in 1997.
