Short description
Trained in huadan (lead female) and daomadan (sword-wielding, horse-riding female) roles, Man Shuet-kau’s work is distinguished by her attention to detail and insightful character studies. A student of the late Leung Ming-shing, she also trained with Hui Kin-shun, Ho Ka-yiu, Chu Siu-bing and Wu Kam-fai. Man has performed with professional troupes and had practicum training with Chan Kim-fung. She is currently performing in the Cantonese Opera Young Talent Showcase organised by The Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong, as well as with various professional companies. In 2016, she was selected to perform in Rising Stars of Cantonese Opera II organised by the West Kowloon Cultural District.
