Hong Kong-based clarinettist Linus Fung is a member of the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, Wuji Ensemble, Freespace Ensemble, LENK Quartet and The TimeCrafters. Fung has a BA in Music from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Music from the Royal Northern College of Music, UK, and has studied under Martin Choy, John Bradbury, Lynsey Marsh and Nicholas Cox. Fung has performed at festivals such as the Shanghai New Music Week, Seoul International Computer Music Festival, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Freespace Jazz Fest, HKT x WESTK POPFEST, Tai Kwun’s Prison Yard Festival and New Vision Arts Festival. He has performed in Zoetrope, TechBox: Interaction of colour in space (Work-in-progress), VENT!, A Sonic Journey in Nature, Tranquil as a Chrysanthemum and Sunyata. He recently conceived and performed a set of original compositions as clarinettist and music director for the multimedia concert Freespace Ensemble: KONG.
