Lee Ting-fung began his Cantonese opera training at Love and Faith Cantonese Opera Laboratory at a young age under the tutelage of renowned artist Lam Kam-tong, before studying overseas. In recent years, he has been primarily working as a playwright for Cantonese opera productions, with notable works including The Magic Cup, The Golden Age of Cantonese Opera and Spirit of Hong Kong.
