Biography
Pop-up book creator, paper artist and theatre lighting designer Lau Ming-hang creates work that blends storytelling, music, paper-cutting and three-dimensional art. He is the creator and director of the theatre works Ordinary Living, Am I Crying, Mr. HALF dwells…, and Dance Me to the Trees, and has been nominated for Best Lighting Design at the Hong Kong Drama Awards. In 2020, Lau participated in the exhibition TST Stories (The Dooor Arts Space, YMCAHK) as a vidual artist. He also designed the exhibition space and lighting for the Jockey Club ICH+ Innovative Heritage Education Programme – Annual Showcase (2019–2021).
