Jordan Cheng Kwan-chi is a musical theatre performer and playwright. He received his master’s degree in musical theatre from the Guildford School of Acting in the UK and trained extensively under the mentorship of Mohamed Drissi, the artistic director of Hong Kong 3 Arts Musical Institute.
In 2023, Cheng was named Best Actor (Tragedy/Drama) at the Hong Kong Drama Awards for his performance in The Impossible Trial. He also received the Award for Young Artist (Drama) at the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards in the same year. Other recent accolades include earning nominations for Best Lyrics at the 2023 Hong Kong Drama Awards for Next to Normal and for Performer of the Year at the IATC(HK) Critics Awards 2023. Cheng has appeared in more than 80 theatre productions in 20 cities worldwide and created several Cantonese musicals, which have earned wide acclaim.
