Founder of Deaf dance group Fun Forest Deaf Dance Crew, Deaf artist Jason Wong specialises in hip-hop, street jazz, K-pop and sign in dance, and was one of the Top Ten Regeneration Warriors of 2015–2016. He studied dance techniques and hip-hop culture at Broadway Dance Center, New York, supported by the Artists with Disability Development Fund, and has promoted “dance in silence” in communities in Hong Kong. Wong has participated in Deaf dance festivals in Japan and the US, and worked with several international artists including Finnish Deaf hip-hop artist Signmark, Singapore dance group Redeafination and British Birds of Paradise Theatre Company. He was a prizewinner at Free Your Dream Power! Dream Stage 2016 and Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Performing Artists with Disabilities 2017 - The Most Potential Performance Award”.
