Ina Kang

Geomungo musician Ina Kang studied Korean traditional music at the Korea National University of Arts. In 2015, she was nominated for Most Promising Artist of the Year and received a silver prize in the Gugak National Music Contest hosted by South Korean broadcaster KBS. Kang is an expert in blending genres to produce creative and inventive music with traditional Korean instruments. Keen to expand the application of geomungo in a variety of performances and genres, she has produced and played musical pieces for performances such as dance theatre, traditional Korean musicals, puppet performances and more.
