Good Funk Shui

Hong Kong funk band Good Funk Shui takes inspiration from the classic rhythms of James Brown and Earth Wind and Fire and the quirky lyrics of Cole Porter and Conway Twitty, and features instrumental solos from some of Hong Kong’s virtuoso jazz, funk and session musicians. The band has performed at Freespace Jazz Fest and Hong Kong’s Wild Boar Music Festival, and is led by drummer Nate Wong, an acclaimed musician who has performed locally and internationally at venues ranging from Wembley Arena in London, to Hong Kong Coliseum and Mexico City.
