Eunsil Noh

Eunsil Noh is a performer, sound artist, and vocalist who is building her own artistic language through the medium of voice. After majoring in pansori (a Korean genre of musical storytelling) and art history at the Korea National University of Arts, she studied at the Department of Alternative Theatre and Puppetry of the Theatre Faculty (DAMU) of the Academy of Performing Arts and has been giving performances that combine pansori’s theatricality with objects in Korea and abroad. Recently, she has been experimenting with audiovisual performances using voice as a material to surpass her expressive limits. She has also been taking part in sound performances and improvised collaborations based on her concept of voice art.
