Based in Athens and London, Erica Scourti is an artist and writer exploring elements of autobiography and collective experience through text, video and performance. She has performed, exhibited and presented talks internationally, at High Line New York, Wellcome Collection, Kunsthalle Wien, Hayward Gallery, Munich Kunstverein, ICA London, EMST Athens, the 2022 Athens Biennale ECLIPSE and the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art. Her writing has been published in Spells (Ignota, 2018) and Fiction as Method (Sternberg, 2017) and other publications, and she guest-edited the Happy Hypocrite – Silver Bandage journal (2019). Scourti is currently a lecturer in Fine Art at Central St Martins and undertaking a PhD at Goldsmiths’ Art Department.
