Denzel Yung is currently studying Theatre and Entertainment Arts at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and majoring in Lighting Design. He has been the recipient of various scholarships, including the HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship and Grantham Scholarship. He is also a graduate from HKUSPACE Community College, majoring in Creative Studies. Yung has participated in a number of productions as lighting or video programmer and production electrician. Recent productions include Freespace Jazz Fest (West Kowloon), Breathing at Zero (HKAPA), Hook Dance Theatre’s Stay / Away and More than Musical’s La Traviata. Yung has also worked as a lighting designer for Touch Theatre’s Blessing Meteor and CityU Arts Festival’s Grease the Musical and Chicago the Musical.
