Biography
Bowen Li is a pianist and composer who graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a Bachelor of Music in 2018, majoring in jazz performance and composition.
Since returning to Hong Kong, he has founded several music initiatives, including Fountain de Chopin, Fountain Vocal Tribe and Looppool. He has also collaborated with various artists and groups, such as Wuji Ensemble, Ensemble Transience, Chung Ying Theatre Company and Tsai Ming-liang. Li has performed in music festivals such as Jazz Gala – The Legends and Beyond, Freespace Jazz Fest and Transcience Music Festival.
As a composer, his work has been featured in the Freespace Mixtape Vol. 3 and at The Mills for A Story of Wandering series.
