Bobo Lee has worked across moving image, music, theatre and new media art for 25 years, and is a Producer for Performing Arts (Theatre) at the West Kowloon Cultural District participating in the development of West Kowloon’s artistic direction and strategies for Theatre Arts. Lee is the curator of The Future of Performance series (2021–2023, A Thousand Plateaus, Bright Day and Presence) and TechBox (from 2021, in collaboration with the School of Theatre and Entertainment Art of Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts). Lee is also the producer of The Impossible Trial (2022, West Kowloon/Hong Kong Repertory Theatre), Rimini Protokoll’s 100% Hong Kong (2021, with On and On Theatre Workshop), and An Invitation: On Empty Theatre (2020), and What is Stage (2017-2023), both projects are in collaboration with Edward Lam Dance Theatre.
