Birdy Wong Ching-yan

Since graduating from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2009 with a degree in acting, Birdy Wong Ching-yan has established herself as an accomplished stage actor and playwright. She has written plays for a number of theatre companies, with notable works including Three Men and A Lady, Sins, and The Truth from Liar. She won the Hong Kong Arts Development Council Award for Young Artist in 2016, Best Script at the 9th Hong Kong Theatre Libre, and Best Script/Playwright of the Year at the 2018 IATC (HK) Critics Awards. She currently serves as the Artistic Director of Artocrite Theater.
