Biography
Anson Lam Pui-Lim holds a BFA in acting from Nihon University College of Art in Japan, and an MPhil in Japanese studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. As an actor, he has appeared in the Japanese film My Lyrical Age, and several stage productions by Yakusha Theatre.
He was nominated for the IATC Critics Award for Performer of the Year in 2019, and won Artist of the Year (Drama) at the 15th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards in 2021. Lam is also an accomplished theatre translator, having translated a number of Japanese plays into Chinese including Shed Skin, University of Laughs, Asagao and The Attic.
