Views on the Hong Kong Palace Museum Project were collected through a diversity of channels in the Public Consultation Exercise. A Compendium containing the views collected is consolidated.

The Compendium consists of the following:

Volume 1, 2 and 3: Self-returned questionnaires

The Authority received 1,528 valid questionnaires.

Some parts of the pages showing the respondents' names have been removed from the questionnaires where the respondents do not agree their views in their return can be made available for public perusal with their name on it. The pages with the profiles of the respondents and all respondents' personal data, such as email addresses, telephone numbers and more have been removed from all questionnaires in order to safeguard respondents' privacy. We have removed advertising messages, and materials which may involve copyright issues. Otherwise, the contents of the questionnaires are published in their entirety.

There are different forms of the questionnaires, including paper questionnaire, easy-to-read paper questionnaire* and online questionnaire. The contents of the questionnaires are identical.

The serial numbers and dates on the questionnaires are for WKCDA's internal use only.

*Easy-to-read paper questionnaire translates content into pictures and short sentences for easy comprehension for people with different abilities.

Volume 4: Written and other submissions
 

The Authority received 58 valid written and other submissions from individuals/ associations/ bodies by email, post, phone, etc. All submissions received by us have been analysed by our Consultation Consultant, Consumer Search Group. The names of the senders who did not consent to having their names published were removed from their submissions.
 

In order to safeguard senders' privacy, their personal data, such as their addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses and more were removed from the Compendium. We have also removed advertising messages, if any, contained in the submissions.
 

Some submissions contain newspaper cuttings or extracts of books/magazines, reports, and more. As publication of such materials may involve copyright issues, they are not included in the Compendium unless the senders have provided written consents from the publishers or the copyright owners concerned.
 

The contents of these submissions are otherwise published in their entirety.
 

The serial numbers and dates on the submissions are for the Authority's internal use only.

A hard copy of the Compendium is available for viewing by members of the public at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority at Units 608-613, Level 6, Core C, Cyberport 3, 100 Cyberport Road, Hong Kong and WKCDA Project Site Office, West Kowloon Cultural District, Kowloon, Hong Kong, every Monday to Friday (except public holidays) 9:15am - 1:00pm, 2:00pm - 6:00pm. For protection of copyright, no photo-copying of any parts of the Compendium will be arranged or allowed.
 

If there is anything we have missed or if any opinion has been inadvertently left out in compiling this Compendium, we will issue a corrigendum when the need arises.
