Description
World Children's Day is an international day established by the United Nations and commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child drafted by Eglantyne Jebb, founder of Save the Children, on 20 November 1959. It is also the date in 1989 when the UN General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
In honor of World Children’s Day, Save the Children Hong Kong raises awareness of issues that impact children’s development and call for actions, so together, we can create a brighter future for children.
We planned a full calendar of special activities at the World Children’s Day Fun Carnival including great shows, game booths, and workshops such as balloon twisting, Donut and Ah Meow 500X Game booth, face painting and craft workshop. Donut and Ah Meow will also join us in taking photos with everyone during the Carnival. All families and friends are welcome to experience a special World Children’s Day.
