Description
This July, Freespace presents a work-in-progress multimedia performance by cross-disciplinary artist Samson Young, lighting designers Kinphen Leung and Kaki Lai, sound designers Gut Lam, Caesar Seto and Jaycee Kwok, space designer Tiffany Lau, and musicians Colleen Lee and Linus Fung in which they explore perceptions of colour in time, space and sound.
We are offering a free, behind-the-scenes student session demonstrating artistic creative processes in a media artwork lab setting. The open-studio format allows students to engage with participating artists and curators, observe the setting up, trialling and rehearsal process, and gain insight into the inspiration behind the project.
Please note that the session will be recorded. The video will later be made available on the West Kowloon digital platform.
How to Participate
The session is free of charge and open to full-time students studying creative media, music, architecture, design or fine arts. Please send a short self-introduction (max. 100 words) to pa1@wkcda.hk by 11 July 2022 (Monday). Successful applicants will receive email confirmation on/after 18 July 2022 (Monday).
