In this workshop, Belgian choreographer Lisbeth Gruwez offers professional dance makers practical insight on how to improve improvisation skills and develop a unique language of movement.
Sharing a variety of tools, Gruwez – cofounder of the Belgian dance group Voetvolk and creator/performer of It’s going to get worse and worse and worse, my friend – helps participants explore their technical skills and enhance the imaginative possibilities of their individual physical expression.
The workshop is tailored to participants’ creative needs and preferences through a process of open discussion and dialogue, and includes live music by musician/composer Maarten Van Cauwenberghe.
